STAR READING

The stars of the day you were born never move.
What moves is today's sky, and the cards you draw.

We set the chart drawn from your date of birth against the positions of today's heavens,
and read the current that has come round to you now.

Your chart is drawn from where the stars stood on this day.

Gender

Gender is used to tune how the reading speaks. It is not used in the positions of the stars.

What you give us is used for the reading only. No name is needed.

About this reading

  • · Every step of the reading is free to see.The chart, today's Moon, the dial of the turning, the three cards drawn — nothing is held back.
  • · What is paid for is the part that readswhat it means for you.
  • · The result settles once a day. Rereading it, or changing device, will not change it.
  • · On a day you cannot accept, you may draw the cards again (once a day at no cost). The turning of the stars does not move.

From the reader

Traditional astrology hands the same words to everyone born on the same date. That makes it a story about people born that day in general, not about you today — and that always left me wanting more.

What I arrived at is the present form. The positions of the stars come from your date of birth alone, and never move again. Over that I lay today's sky and read the current that has come round. Then, froma fingerprint of one person, name and gender included, today's tarot is drawn. It is a hybrid of inherited knowledge and a draw that belongs to fate. The three layers — the chart, today's sky, the turning — are fixed, andonly the cards move when you draw again. I spent the most time on that design.

I also believe a reading is not everything. What is read here is a current, not a verdict. Fate, I think, is something a person can change.

So I made it possible to draw again. On a day you cannot accept, there is room for one more draw. Once at no cost, and after that for a price. Simply being allowed one more makes a reading a little kinder, I think.
